This mood board is for my Nordic Ice Imp by the name of Alvar. Imps are creatures that are bound to witches with dark forbidden magic that very few witches know about. The witches in the coven summon god like magic for combat and worship. Physically summoning creatures permanently is punishable by death or exile. Alvar serves a witch that has been cast from her coven because she performed a summoning ritual to summon Alvar.  Alvar has been bound to her soul and stays on the lands permanently by her side. After being cast from the coven the other witches gathered to kill the witch and Alvar, but only succeeded in killing the witch. Upon death she transferred a mark on Alvar and set him on a mission to wipe out the entire coven. Her mark is a small blue flame that hovers between his horns and keeps him warm in the extreme weather conditions. If the flame were to ever extinguish he would cease to exist. He roams the lands searching for the coven members. The environment he exists in, is extremely cold and the air is infused with magic. Over the years crystal like ice structures have started to emerge from his body slowing him down significantly. His scythe is imbued with magic from his master and once he kills all the coven members with it, the witch can then be resurrected. He is a mischievous imp who but has a bloodlust for battle, like a true Viking. Although he is pretty small, his strength and combat abilities surpass other warriors/creatures.
